Bio: Datonna has over a decade of experience in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and, more recently, postpartum mental healthcare. Not only did she start Therapy But Different, she also had the honor and privilege of starting a mental health diversion program to assist in those facing prison sentences getting appropriate mental healthcare and support, which continues to change the lives of those facing incarceration today. Datonna has a passion for transforming lives and making high-quality mental healthcare accessible and convenient for all.

About me: I’m a wife and mother who comes from a humongous family (I have 17 siblings). I love to travel, spend time outdoors, and enjoy hiking, kayaking, yoga and anything that keeps me active. When I’m not on an adventure, you can usually find me recharging at home with the people I love most. I’m no stranger to adversity, and my fulfillment in my work comes from helping others overcome adversity and create a life they can find true enjoyment in.
